Heavy Duty Quadro - able to scan in almost any indoor or outdoor conditions

The eviXscan 3D Heavy Duty Quadro is distinguished by sealed, encapsulated housing made entirely of oxidized aluminum, which securely protects the interior of the scanner from accidental mechanical damage, moisture and dust. The scanner's optic is placed on a temperature-resistant carbon fiber beam. This ensures the geometry of the optical system is preserved, even in the case of a sudden temperature change.
The eviXscan 3D Heavy Duty Quadro scanner is perfect for direct and continuous work on shop floors, production lines and in regularly changing temperature and light conditions, also in outdoor conditions. It is most often used in foundries, tool shops, as well as in automotive and aerospace industry.



Two scanning ranges allow measurement of the geometry of both large objects such as dies and molds, and precision parts such as gears, worms, cams and shafts. Changing the scanning range is done in software, so recalibration is not required.

The compact size of the scanner guarantees the mobility of the entire system, and the head with worm gear - a precise and comfortable way to set the position of the device. Laser pointers facilitate the positioning of the scanner in relation to the scanned object.

Narrow scanning range


In the narrow range, the cameras are positioned closer together, allowing a measuring range of 210 x 145 x 90 mm. This ensures the highest accuracy and point density. This range is recommended for scanning very complex shapes and small dimensions.

Included in the purchase cost is training for 2 operators, full technical support and a 24-month warranty that can be extended.

Wide scanning range


In this range, the cameras are positioned further apart, allowing a measuring range of 370 x 265 x 150 mm. This ensures the accuracy and density of points needed to scan larger objects.


Applications areas for eviXscan 3D scanners


Reverse engineering


The triangle mesh maps surfaces and forms the basis for creating CAD models of an object. This allows creation of technical documentation for an object. The resulting model can be used to manufacture a replica, or as a starting point for the design of new products or variations.


Quality control


The scanned product is compared with a reference CAD model to create colour deviation maps.This allows accurate verification of tolerances on manufacturing drawings and measurement of elements that are difficult to measure by other methods.
